Dear friends and family,
The time has finally arrived. We are on our way to China. We depart tomorrow morning via San Francisco, Beijing, then Guangzhou, our final destination. We'll have a day to refresh and recuperate from the 20 hours flight before we meet Emily on Sunday 02/25. It will be interesting to see how she will react. I hope that my Chinese looks will somehow give her some comfort from all the things that will change her life forever.

Woohoo! Congratulations! I wish you safe travels and good health. May Emily feel secure right away with her new mommy and daddy. I'm so glad you guys are adopting her! I look forward to hearing more about your journey. Get lots of sleep now while you still can!

You have arrived!!! Yeah. The flight is over and alas you can try to adjust to the time difference. You are probably so excited that you can hardly stand it. You guys have been waiting so long, Emily is a beautiful little gift that you are just about to open. The anticipation just makes the gift that much more precious.
