This weekend we met with my friends Ada and Doris from Hong Kong. We visited The new and old town center of Guangzhou. It's like the times square in New York City. Lots of people, aromas, food and street vendors. You name it, they have it, cheap! Food is very good and cheap too. Different species of dry food, dry goods, and everything you can imagine. We had fun visiting the different shops and of course if you are still sentimental of the US...just walk a few yards and you will also find McDonals and KFC. Good thing we didn't need it. We ate Dim Sum at a chinese restaurant with more than 150 years old. The chinese new year celebration was still in full force and everywere you look at, was a tree of mandarin oranges with small red envelopes as decorations. That was very neet! LAte afternoon was just back atthe hotel to rest and prepare for the great day.

It is amazing how a new country leaves such an impression; you won't find the sights and smells quite the same when you return home. Hopefully it helps to remind how blessed we are, and yet how great other countries and people are. God is surely creative! I sure appreciate that, and think you are truely blessed to experience something as wonderfull as this has been! love, the spargurs
